Quick and Easy Baked Honey Garlic Chicken
Use bone in skin on thighs, but remove the skin and discard before cooking. Cooking meat on the bone will result in more flavor. Removing the skin will reduce fat and calories. This makes 4 thighs to serve 32 or 4 people, depending on how hungry you are!

- 4 bone in skin on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium tamari or soy
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 16 ounces salad greens for serving
- 1/2 cup mixed chopped herbs such as parsley, basil, and dill
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper

Heat the oven to 350°F. Remove the skin from the chicken thighs and discard. Place the in an ovenproof skillet. Drizzle over the honey and tamari. Add orange zest and juice, garlic, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Turn to coat.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook until the juices run clear when pierced with a knife and the temperature reads 165°F when measured with an instant-read thermometer, 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and turn to coat. Top with herbs. Serve on salad greens with the cooking juices spooned over the chicken and greens.
